Do I need to be Nude for a Massage?

No. There is no need to be nude. The general rule of thumb for massage is to the level of comfort for the customer. Levels of comfort differ from person to person. So, your particular level of comfort is up to you. How much you want on is your business, but here are a few things you will need to know about your massage.

A sheet and blanket is always used on you so you will always remain covered. The only part of your body exposed is your head and the part the therapist is working on. No other part of the body is exposed at any point. This is a part of the professional training and ethics as a therapist.

Want an ab massage? Not a problem. A wide bandeau of cloth will go around the breast area. Got stretch marks that you feel self conscious about? That area can be covered and worked around. Again, this is professional training at its best.

The back is the main spot for massage therapy. If you are wearing underwear, shorts or what have you, the blanket is tucked into the waistband to protect clothes against oil staining the clothes. Got on a bra? We can work around it. Tank top, shorts or socks? All can be worked around. This is no different than on site massage work where people are clothed fully.

Jewelry and accessories may need to come off, but this is optional unless it is an area that really needs work. Wedding bands can be worked around as can really personal items.

One more very important thing we would like to point out is that the therapist not judging you. It is not their place to judge you or your body. This is your massage and done to your comfort level.
